FOCIS (Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies) 17-10-2018 http://www.focisnet.org/meetings/focis-2019/about/
FOCIS is THE meeting in translational immunology!
FOCIS is a key forum where opinion leaders who are developing and applying novel concepts come together to chart the path to the next major breakthrough in disease therapy.
Through the FOCIS Annual Meeting, researchers and clinicians share knowledge across traditional disease borders, and identify commonalities between treatments and therapies that are life changing for those affected with immune-mediated diseases.
FOCIS (Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies) 17-09-2018 https://bit.ly/2Ow1C2L
Our most popular course covers the major topics in cellular and molecular immunology, including innate immunity, B cells, T cells, dendritic cells, cytokines and mucosal immunity. Other lectures cover autoimmune, allergic and immunodeficiency diseases, as well as new advances in interventional and clinical immunology and the molecular and genetic basis of immunologically-mediated diseases.
All lecturers encourage interaction with the students through questions and discussions during lecture time. There is also ample opportunity for students to interact with the faculty outside the lecture room.
FOCIS (Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies) 12-09-2018 http://www.focisnet.org/education/european-advanced-course/
Invited speakers are chosen based on their expertise in basic and clinical immunology, as well as their teaching skills. The lectures cover the major topics in cellular and molecular immunology, including innate immunity, B cells, T cells, dendritic cells, cytokines and mucosal immunity. Other lectures cover autoimmune, allergic and immunodeficiency diseases, as well as new advances in interventional and clinical immunology and the molecular and genetic basis of immunologically-mediated diseases.
The target audience includes clinical fellows in disciplines related to immunology, including rheumatology, allergy, infectious disease, oncology and transplantation; fellows doing basic research with an emphasis on human disease; scientists or other research and development personnel from biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies who are involved in developing new therapies for immunological disease.
See attached the preliminary program.
