Red Española de Expertos de Enfermedades Raras (ER) del Proyecto IMPaCT-GENóMICA

El proyecto IMPaCT-GENóMICA , concedido al Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red  (CIBER), y cuyo coordinador es el Dr. Ángel Carracedo investigador del área temática de Enfermedades Raras (CIBERER), está financiado por el ISCIII a través de la Convocatoria para la Infraestructura de Medicina de Precisión asociada a la Ciencia y Tecnología (IMPaCT) de la Acción Estratégica en Salud 2017-2020.

El objetivo del proyecto IMPaCT-GENóMICA es utilizar la medicina de precisión para ayudar en el diagnóstico de personas con enfermedades raras que no han podido ser diagnosticadas por métodos asistenciales de rutina.

La Red Española de Expertos en Enfermedades Raras se enmarca en el paquete de trabajo 3 (WP3): Traslación a la práctica clínica: ER, cuyo IP es el Dr. Pablo Lapunzina (CIBERER). La red estará formada por profesionales del territorio nacional de todas las áreas de la asistencia de la Medicina Genómica en el ámbito de las ER.

En estos momentos la Red se encuentra en proceso de captación de expertos y, es por eso, que solicitamos su colaboración, para difundir esta propuesta de participación entre los inmunólogos que forman parte de su sociedad.

Para poder formar parte de la Red los expertos deben contestar a un cuestionario web que no le llevará más de 5 minutos.

A continuación, se incluye el enlace al formulario a través del cual recopilaremos la información sobre el área de conocimiento y grado de experiencia profesional: https://expertos.ciberisciii.es/

El hecho participar como experto para una patología, grupo de patologías, genes, enfermedades o técnicas diagnósticas, implica que se podrá contactar cuando uno de los casos incluidos en el programa requiera de una valoración experta. Además, formará parte de un catálogo de expertos en ER a nivel nacional.

En caso de que haya considerado positivamente esta propuesta, y una vez recopiladas las respuestas del cuestionario, estructuraremos la Red de Expertos y nos pondremos en contacto con los expertos incorporados en caso necesario.

Allergologist/Immunologist Consultant:
Eastern Pathology Alliance (EPA, in Norwich, United Kingdom) requires a full-time Clinical Consultant for our Biochemistry and Immunology Department to join our dynamic team of two Chemical Pathologists, two Clinical Biochemistry consultants, two Principal Biochemists and one Senior Biochemist.
We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and motivated applicants for this post, based at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust (NNUH).
The EPA Department of Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology encompasses three laboratories: the hub at NNUH, and two spokes, James Paget University Hospital and Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
EPA is the 6th largest UK laboratory in volume of tests, serving a population of approximately 1,000,000 and processing approximately 15 million immunology and biochemistry tests annually. The Department employs 135 WTE staff and EPA has an annual budget of approximately £29 million.
We provide a wide range of immunology tests, support for clinical activity, and extensive support of research.
The Immunology laboratory is UKAS accredited. This is a new Consultant position, approved to comply with ISO standards for clinician cover for UKAS accreditation of the Service.
You will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, and innovation is encouraged and supported. We have excellent links both with hospital-based clinical teams and with the University of East Anglia.
The post-holder will be expected to develop local clinical services, clinical guidelines, to undertake analytical quality leadership, method development, and to liaise with other clinical teams. The post-holder will participate in Multidisciplinary Team meetings and will contribute to quality management, teaching and training.
The hospitals are situated within convenient reach of London by both road and rail. Norwich is a delightful place to live with a fantastic coastline, beautiful countryside and villages, outstanding schools and two magnificent cathedrals.
