Mensaje para médicos que tratan a los pacientes afectos de ataxia telangiectasia

Nos ponemos en contacto desde la Unidad de Patologia infecciosa e inmunodeficiencias de Pediatría del hospital Vall d´Hebron (Barcelona) para proponerles la participación en un estudio muy interesante y dirigido a los profesionales médicos que controlan a los pacientes afectos de Ataxia Telangiectasia. Se trata de responder una encuesta "anónima" (10 minutos apróx) por internet (plataforma REDCAP) para obtener información de la "calidad asistencial percibida por los médicos de referencia de los pacientes con ataxia telangiectasia ". Se trata de un estudio que quiere llegar a todos los médicos de España que controlan a estos pacientes y cuyo objetivo es obtener información sobre la atención médica recibida y poder mejorar aquellas áreas que lo precisen. Esta encuesta se complementará con otra encuesta dirigida a los pacientes para que también evalúen la calidad asistencial que reciben.

Allergologist/Immunologist Consultant:
Eastern Pathology Alliance (EPA, in Norwich, United Kingdom) requires a full-time Clinical Consultant for our Biochemistry and Immunology Department to join our dynamic team of two Chemical Pathologists, two Clinical Biochemistry consultants, two Principal Biochemists and one Senior Biochemist.
We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and motivated applicants for this post, based at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust (NNUH).
The EPA Department of Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology encompasses three laboratories: the hub at NNUH, and two spokes, James Paget University Hospital and Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
EPA is the 6th largest UK laboratory in volume of tests, serving a population of approximately 1,000,000 and processing approximately 15 million immunology and biochemistry tests annually. The Department employs 135 WTE staff and EPA has an annual budget of approximately £29 million.
We provide a wide range of immunology tests, support for clinical activity, and extensive support of research.
The Immunology laboratory is UKAS accredited. This is a new Consultant position, approved to comply with ISO standards for clinician cover for UKAS accreditation of the Service.
You will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, and innovation is encouraged and supported. We have excellent links both with hospital-based clinical teams and with the University of East Anglia.
The post-holder will be expected to develop local clinical services, clinical guidelines, to undertake analytical quality leadership, method development, and to liaise with other clinical teams. The post-holder will participate in Multidisciplinary Team meetings and will contribute to quality management, teaching and training.
