Este programa se emitió originalmente en junio del 2011 pero mantiene su vigencia y és muy útil para la divulgación del conocimiento sistema inmune a la sociedad. La traducción al español ha sido a cargo de María Montoya por encargo de la SEI y revisada por varios socios (África González-Fernández, José Antonio Brieva José Ramón Regueiro y Margarita del Val), todo con la colaboración de la Fundación Esteve.

En el número de Junio de 2014, la revista Nature Reviews Immunology publica en forma de "Comment" el artículo "Presenting the marvels of immunity", que discute como y porque difundir más y mejor la Inmunología a la sociedad. El sistema inmune es uno de los sistemas humanos más estudiados pero su conocimiento entre el público general es bastante limitado y esto depende de nosotros.

Tras el éxito de la versión catalana, de la que ya se han distribuido gratuitamente 3.000 ejemplares en bibliotecas y centros educativos, la Fundación Dr. Antonio Esteve y la Sociedad Española de Inmunología publican ahora "Los misterios del sistema inmunitario: Cómo protege nuestro cuerpo", la edición en castellano del libro internacional que busca acercar la inmunología a los estudiantes de secundaria.
